WHEAT Announces Move - Thursday, October 15, 2009

Effective Sunday, November 1, 2009, the WHEAT Community Café will be serving meals in it’s new location at 242 High Street in Clinton. The site of the former Sabor Latino Restaurant, the space offers a friendly atmosphere to anyone in the area who wants to stop by, Sunday through Friday from 5PM to 6 PM, for a delicious meal. While there is no charge for the meals, donations are welcomed. Parking is plentiful on the street and behind the Café.

Livening Up Services - Monday, October 05, 2009

It's hard to imagine lively African singing and dancing going on during Presbyterian church services, which are generally thought to be solemn and dignified affairs. The church's history dates back to 16th century England and Scotland, with theological writings by John Calvin, a strident lawyer whose ideas formed the basis of the Protestant Reform Movement.
