Pastor Cindy is going to start a Theology Book Club. Everyone can
participate. She will be having weekly online “blog” discussions about the
content of the book. Every week there will be new reading assignments
posted on the blog and in the bulletin. Pastor Cindy will post a summary of
the weekly reading, and then anyone can add their own comments and
questions. The first book on the agenda is “Exclusion & Embrace,” by
Miroslav Volf., a theological exploration of identity, otherness, and
reconciliation. It is the winner of the 2002 Louisville Grawemeyer Award in
Religion. Amazon.com is offering this title for $16.50. We will begin this
study on December 9th.
